It was so complicated from the beginning to the end of the painting process, I had to went back to read Carol's challenge description many times to remind me of keeping it simplified. Every time when I try to paint loosen up more, it seems like that I was in a rush, but I was not! Thank you Carol for this interesting photo.
I have this photo taken few years back at local art festival. When I saw DPW's weekly challenge is to paint "The Crowd of People", decided to chose it as my entry. Such perfect timing to do a demo in the crowded art show, what a confident artist with his great marketing strategy! I am glad that I captured the special moment, made him a major element into my crowd.
This is my first time painting the cows, thanks to Carol Marine sharing the beautiful picture! Also I want to mention the change of my signature on my painting, it was a great advice from an artist that I met through DPW, she recommended me to sign my last name on the painting, it would be more formal and recognizable in the future. I really appreciate your suggestion, Susan! So here it is, my first time signature changing with my last name included on the painting. Hope everyone likes it!
I took this photo at local art show few years ago, two girls were more interested in the fish in the pond instead of the arts on the display. I suddenly captured this beautiful scene, they are just the art in my eyes!
This is my submission to the reflection challenge. Thanks to Leanne for the photo reference, it is a great practice of painting reflections with those ripples on the water! It is much harder "task" than I thought!
