"Art Conversation" -- Painting People in Museum/Gallery Series

Art Conversation
6 x 6"
Oil on 1/8" thick Gessobord
Sold

Two guys were having conversation in front of the painting "Hoboken Heights" by American master painter Ernest Lawson. I really wish that I could hear what they were discussing about this master piece, but didn't get chance to stay there long. It is always great to hear other art lovers sharing the opinions within art.

"Forgetting Winter"

Forgetting Winter
6 x 12"
Sold
Oil on 1/4" thick gessoed MDF board
This is my entry to the DPW challenge "The Summer in Winter Challenge". I took this reference photo sometime in December, a snowbird couple enjoy the sunny beach to forget the winter cold for a day. Hope you enjoy the painting. Thanks to Carol Steinberg posting this challenge, it is a great idea to get the cold out of your mind.

"O'Keeffe Effect" -- Painting People in Museum/Gallery Series

O'Keeffe Effect
6 x 6"
Oil on 1/8" thick Gessobord

I attracted by this lady viewing two of Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings, the coincidence of the pattern on her shirt with the paintings combined a moment of "O'Keeffe Effect".

I am so happy to be able to paint again in the new year! More to come.
