This is my entry for DPW's "The Paint It White Challenge" in this week. I always have the passion to paint the Capitol someday, so here I chose one of my traveling photo in DC. I really want to express the grand manner of the Capitol from the point of my view.
Here is my last one of painting of the Mr. Happy Clown. Somehow, he reminds me of the saying "Get Up, Dress Up and Show Up". Sometimes we have to put on a "happy clown face" to show up in the public making everyday "sparkling". Hope my little happy clown paintings make your day special!
This is my entry of this week's " The Farmer's Market Challenge". I discovered this beautiful plant (called 'Picasso's Paintbrush') on the local farmer's market, the name of the plant makes it special and desire to paint to me. I feel like my brush is dancing with the light and colors. It is quite fun practice! Thank you Carol hosting another great challenge!
Today my model is a lady in her blue uniform (probably in her 80's) was working at a fast food restaurant. She was cleaning and sweeping non-stop while on the clock. Her back even couldn't be straight anymore but she didn't do half way job. She got my fully attention and respect!
